I like the ease of swapping pads out without a lot of hassle. If you leave the pad on for a long time it may be difficult to pull off, which it needs to be so the pad doesn't come off during operation. If you get it too hot it will burn off some of the velcro and stop holding well. I use it with my Porter 6 inch random orbital sander/polisher. Product seems well made but is not indestructible. Just don't use hard pressure for extended periods of time without lifting it off every so often.
