Nice surprise with early delivery. Comfortable and trendy. Good leather condition not to hard not to soft. It would be nicer if it was a quarter inch short, but still good. The sole seems to be more like a traditional design. Very happy with the boots

Do NOT buy from here, buy from Smartpak or another equine shop! I have been trying for a month to get them to do something because my daughters boots ripped while riding and I’ve been getting the run a round. Even tho the time had passed to return, I wrote Ovation where the boots are made and they said no matter what, there is a year warranty on the boots. So technically, these people just didn’t want to give me an exchange because they didn’t want to do the work of sending them to Ovation. Buy from the company! These boots are great and the manufacture will give you a switch but I can’t get one thru here so I Am out over 200$ worth of 4 weeks of riding!!!

My daughter is 5'3" but she has relatively long legs. She weighs maybe 150 pounds. I don't know any women that have legs as big as these. I imagine a 6' woman with big bones might fit these. There are no sizing instructions in the description, so you can't tell just how off base they are. My daughter rides 4-5 hours a day, her calves are as big as they can get, but still these proportions dwarf her. Even my old-lady stumpy legs were too small! If you are big, tall person, try these. I think they are beautiful, if a bit flimsey. If you aren't a rider, just want these for the look, then these, again, would be great. As long as you have very big legs from knee to ankle, and I don't mean tall, I mean girth.

After purchasing and returning several boots I discovered these. This is a great boot. Fits well and the elastic along the zipper makes this an ideal boot for those of us with not so skinny calf muscles. Leather is soft and flexible. Only complaint is the soft leather in the heal area bends and irritates the back of your ankle. For those of you who know feild boots understand this is common until they are broken in. However, I bought slip on ankle Gel pads and it made these the perfect boot! I’m the end well worth this reasonable price!!

Purchased for my 11 year old daughter to replace paddock boots and garter for shows. Fits well - great boot for beginner who competes only occasionally.

Breaking these in has been pretty tough. They are rubbing the back of my ankle above my heel as the boots wrinkle there. I am cleaning them after each use followed by Leather Cream. So far hasn't helped much. Nice boots, feel good on my feet ... a bit too tall but I can live with that. Wish the ankle wrinkling didn't occur so much and cause pain/blisters.

I bought these for a 2-day riding show (for English dress requirements) and they were perfect!! Felt molded to my leg and very comfortable on top of the horse! Seem like nice quality leather, cleaned off easily and look very sharp!! Breaking in was a breeze, however by the middle of the second day I began to feel little blisters on the back of my heel when I walked in them. I think this should hopefully be prevented with thick, high socks, or perhaps with a slightly larger boot size around the heel. ;) Honestly, what I'd expected and I look forward to wearing them to future shows!!
