These packs have been noticeably better than the lower C offering ones. The 8000mah size gives plenty of extra long runtime and the high C rating means you experience waaay less sag when you're really punching it. I did have to secure 8t with an extra strap since it was too big to fit in the original spot. Perfect for big crawlers and trucks when rc hiking.

This battery is a great upgrade for LiPo-powered RC cars that come with lower-quality 7.4V packs. I had to cut off the EC5 connector and install an XT90 instead. After running the numbers, the discharge hovers around 95-100A, so an XT90 seemed like the right choice, paired with a quality XT60 downstepper. Performance has been solid so far, and I really appreciate that it includes a voltage checker that clips onto the balancing leads. A good buy for anyone looking to boost their RC setup.So far, I've been very pleased with the OVONIC brand. I recommend these to everyone that needs a quality affordable Lipo battery.

I got these to use with some of my larger 1/10th and 1/8th scale RC trucks. I had to make some adapter sets to get these EC5 connectors to a Traxxas connector, but with that, these have been working fine. They came packaged decently, however I am missing the voltage checker that was supposed to be included with the pair of batteries.After charging them up, and using them a few times, I am disappointed in the runtime I have been getting. I am getting more than 5 minutes less runtime compared to my Traxxas 2s lipos, which are rated 7600 mah. Some people speculate that Traxxas underrates their batteries, but in any case, I am seeing noticeably less runtime with a supposed higher-capacity battery. Additionally, the Traxxas batteries are rated at 25C, while these Ovonic batteries are rated at 130C. In terms of performance, I honestly think the Traxxas batteries are more punchy and deliver more power.Although these Ovonic batteries aren’t performing as well as others, I do think it's an OK battery pair for the price. They work and still provide some fun, and at half the cost of a single Traxxas battery. But considering the high ratings advertised, and the missing voltage checker, I think a 3-star rating is more than fair.

This is a very nice Lipo battery these batteries pack a punch. These were very well-made and heavy very high C rating. The casing for these batteries was made very well. The quality of the material is super strong and I don’t see these batteries swelling up anytime. I use these by themselves and also in pairs depending on which RC card that I am using I am also able to charge these batteries on multiple charging devices that I have and I have had no issues yet. I would compare these to even name brand batteries. I will definitely recommend and the price is very fair for how awesome these batteries are

When a new batch of OVONIC batteries came up for review, I was very excited. Their packs have exceptional performance and great value for money. You cannot go wrong with this brand; they punch way above their weight class.The internal resistance of these packs is shockingly low. I suppose that’s what you get with such a large capacity and C rating, but it is still very impressive. They are slightly longer than normal stick packs, so keep that in mind and measure your car first if you think space will be tight.The included cell checker is useful for a quick “at-a-glance” voltage measurement, or as a low voltage alarm. Its readings are low resolution, but reasonably accurate. About ±15 millivolts on each cell. The quality at least I expect from OVONIC, balance was not horrible from shipping, I always use a balance charge, and they topped off nicely, then the son and I beat the snot out of them for a few hours with his 1:10 scale truck. We had a blast, and I did as well. We got to spend a lot of time together doing a hobby we both like. This is what I liver for.So I have to rate these for 5 stars with how well they balance, and how long they kept my 11yr old son and I having fun with our RC cars.

Swapped the EC5 plug with Dean-style T connectors, so that I could run them on a Red Cat and a Firestorm RC. They performed well for me the power was good it increased the speed on my Firestorm. Battery life was good but not a big noticeable difference between theses and my other 2s LiPo 7.4V battery's. These were a bit thinner and longer than original ones but not by much, so they still fit in the space designated for it. These OVONIC are 5.78" long and my OG were 5.39" long. Packs came very well wrapped with foam cushion around it so as to not get damaged during storage and shipping. Wires are malleable and of good gauge/thickness allowing good flow of power. I really like the battery voltage tester that was included. The tester is built so that if you are looking at the display face the negative is the furthest left and positive is far right. However, it you have a plug with 2, 3 ,4. etc. doesn't matter you connect the negative to the left and line it up with the prongs and it will give a beep followed by the battery reading. Great LiPo 2pk. Not sure on the overall life span so kept a star. Good way to at a reasonable price. Paid $80 for one in the past from a hobby shop.
