Love this little cookie mold. It’s adorable, and I made cinnamon salt dough ornaments for my wildlife-themed Christmas tree. My ornaments turned out just like the cookie in the listing photo. I didn’t have much trouble at all getting the cookie out as long as I floured the mold a little and tapped it on the counter several times to loosen it. The molds are slightly expensive to me, but I love that they’re wooden, not plastic, and I put an eye hook and a little ribbon in the top of mine and hung it in the kitchen because it’s so sweet, so it’s doing double duty. I would love to have a collection of them.

Bought this for Christmas. It really makes the most beautiful cookies. The most important thing to do before using it: Oil the form with some olive oil and a small brush and let it soak in overnight. Never flour the form as it will get stuck in the design. Instead lightly flour the dough. After use I brush it with an old toothbrush. Once dry store and repeat

It makes a beautiful cookie. Before planning to use it for a special occasion, test it. It works better on some kinds of doughs than others, and you need to use a certain thickness of dough and learn how firmly to press it into the mold.

It took a bit to get the hang of it, but finally got it. To get them out, slam the block down on the counter. It's not as detailed as in the advertised photo, but still pretty. If I had more time, I think they would be beautiful with flower icing. I made a brown sugar cookie. Chill the dough.
