If you're planning to install a second battery in your adventure vehicle, you will need at least one set of bus bars. Many manufacturers' sets are similar to this one, and it is a tested and approved design. This one is nice because it also includes spare lugs with insulators.

Very well made robust set of busbars. I am putting in a larger battery Bank in my motorhome and instead of connecting my batteries together in parallel I opted for the bus bar instead. If you connect more than two batteries you will find that the discharge and charge is not even and that the middle batteries will not charge and discharge at the same rate. To even the distribution of power the bus bar comes in play. Now I connect each battery's positive to the Red Bus bar and each battery's negative to the bus bar and they all charge and discharge relatively even. This set comes with the red and the black/posite of a negative as well as covers that go over top of the threaded connections. These were easy to install on my power distribution board that I put together in the battery Bay of my motorhome. I looked at other bus buyers but these provided the best quality for the money and I would highly recommend
