MUCH BETTER than the one from Harbor Freight, which both are made in China. This one has a narrow cut for the wires, which makes the fit on the sensor nut SO MUCH tighter and solid. Only complaint is I got the 1/2" drive versus 3/8"...but man, this sucker is a TANK.

This socket is standard quality, it has a hex end so it can be used with a wrench as well as using a ratchet. Of course being an O2 sensor socket, it is a deep well, with a slit along the side to route the sensor wiring harness.Cars commonly have O2 sensors and sometimes several like my Jeep Unlimited has 4. They wear out, trigger the check engine light and need to be replaced. You can borrow the tool from a store, requiring a couple trips and a refundable payment. It may have been abused before you get it.Just remember that it's necessary to have anti-seize on the threads of the replacement and don't get any on the sensor, when reinstalling into the exhaust pipe.It came in a fitted cardboard box that can be labeled.

This tool will have you working like a professional!Pros:1. Heavy duty strong socket is up to the task of removal and installation, even for those stubborn sensors2. Well-designed as the cut-out slot allows for access to the fastener while allowing the wires freedom of motion3. You can use it with most 1/2 in wrenches and torque wrenches for easy removal and OEM spec securing tolerances.4. Worked perfectly to remove the sensors from my 07 CRV and worked equally as well to install the replacement sensors5. Great price point to bootCons: NoneThis is definitely the way to go! This socket allows for maximum flexibility and professional level functionality all in a durable and affordable package!

I used this to take out some O2 sensors which were VERY tight, and it did everything which was asked of it. It is well made, and provides adequate clearance for the wiring without bending it at an awkward angle. It's advertised as 7/8" and 22mm. These two sizes are not strictly identical. I used it on a Subaru -- which is 22mm -- and it fit very well. Using it on a vehicle which is 7/8" may introduce a bit of play. A good, cheap, well-made option.

This is a well-built, hefty tool that feels solid in the hand. I put it to work right away and it performed exactly as expected—easily removed my O2 sensor with minimal effort. The quality and durability are impressive, and I’m confident it’ll hold up to daily use without any issues. Great functionality and definitely a worthwhile addition to the toolbox!

Worked perfectly. Used on a 2013 Yukon.I had previously always used just a 22mm box end wrench but this was way easier. The slot allowed enough room for the wire and the socket fits perfectly on all 4 02 sensors I used it on.one of the sensors was super stuck which prompted me acquiring this tool. it pulled the stuck o2 with ease the box end was not allowing me the leverage needed to remove the rusted 02.Well made, very handy tool to have in the drawer, especially at it price point.

Pro's - thick walled heavy duty socket, great price for tool you only use a few times but will need eventually.Con's - noneIf you've ever tried to remove an oxygen sensor then you know how difficult it can be. Depending on your application the connector may be difficult to nearly impossible to remove prior to removing the sensor. Either way, the wires will get in the way unless you're using a box wrench which isn't possible most of the time. With this tool you can leave the sensor plugged in and run the wire through the slit in side of the socket, then put a socket wrench on the socket to get enough torque to remove the sensor. This socket has the texture, thickness, and appearance of an impact socket. It's 22 Mm which is the perfect size for 02 sensors as well as other difficult to reach sensors like oil pressure sensors. It's a must have for any DIY mechanic's tool box. Highly recommend.

This is one of those tools that unless you are a mechanic, you won't use all that often, but when you need it you need it! I just replaced both of the downstream sensors in my SUV... The first one was crazy stuck, and I ended up needing to use a pipe wrench to remove it (and destroy it in the process) as none of my existing split sockets would do it! That is the reason I grabbed this one, why not try something different and see if it works, right? Well I can report back that maybe the first one was just stuck that much more or maybe this socket is that good, but with a 1/2" breaker bar this socket easily removed the sensor, not fuss at all!
