We used this to replace one of the O2 sensors on our 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland which has the 4.7L HO motor. The specialized socket worked perfectly for us. It uses a 1/2" drive and it is well suited for the task at hand. This socket made removal of the O2 sensor from the exhaust pipe easy. Overall this is a fine tool.

For some reason I had difficulty getting the socket to fit with the wire. The wire has to fully bend and even then it was still not a perfect fit into the socket well. I'm not a mechanic, so maybe this is okay, but I wouldn't use this to install a new sensor, just take out the old one. Overall it's a good product though! Happy with the weight and quality leading to a durable item with 6 point grip.

This is must for easy on and off oxygen sensor replacement. Yes you can do it without this socket but I will tell you its a struggle, make the task easy and get the socket so you can use a ratchet wrench in the tighter spots.

This is a really nice socket that's anodized or coated with green. It's very noticeable when you have it next to your other socket set. Other than that, it's made pretty decent where it has a good finish to look at and see. All the parts of it are milled nicely and down to spec in order for this deep socket to fit over a sensor easily. The only thing I see is that there's a finishing flaw to it. There's a ding or dent that's been anodized over and you can easily see it. It doesn't prevent the socket from performing its job, but I was hoping that this socket would be perfect throughout. Overall, this is a really nice socket to have in your socket set. It does the job easily and it is easily found in all of your tools which makes it well worth it.

There isn't a whole lot to say about this that isn't in the description, but I can confirm that it's a solid tool. I measured it with my Vernier calipers at .87 inches, which is 22mm (and shy of 7/8", which is .875). This is a standard size for oxygen sensors. This is a good tool to have in your kit.
