I have purchased four of these. On every one of them, the heads of the bolts are bigger than the space between the bolt hole and the hump of the shackle. I have had to grind notches into both sides of every hump in order to get the bolts to screw down flat. In addition to being a hassle, this ruins the finish. It is amazing to me that such a stupidly simple product could suffer from such incredibly thoughtless design and poor engineering. The solution is easy: Either provide bolts with smaller heads or space the holes further apart. It's a decent product but for the price they charge, I shouldn't have to fix it.
