Be advised that the thread diameter of this part will only accept the current RotopaX DLX Pack Mount to a depth of about 1/4 inch. Other than that, it appears to be identical to the RotopaX extender which I just purchased — for a proper fit.1 star down because "Fit for RotopaX" is part of the listing

This brand is less money than more expensive versions providing the same function. I had this serval months and the finish still looks brand new. Holds my rotopax securely and without issues.

I got this because I do double up fuelpax when on long trips and you need this to do so. It works just fine with first/second gen packs and allows you to lock them both in place. In the picture, the extension goes between the base and the original clamp that it came with.

I installed a RotoX 2 gallon water pack under the sink in my camper. Immediately, I realized that two 2 gallon tanks would fit and would allow me more time off grid, but the spindle I had was just for one pack. This extension spindle came up on a search and I couldn't believe my luck. I installed it quickly on the existing mount and added a second water pack. The spindle hold them in place when I’m on the road and with the second pack I can keep camping for several extra days. By the way, - if you’re thinking of adding some RotoX packs to your ride, I highly recommend them. I chose them for my camper because they’re made in the US and are excellent quality with no BPAs or other toxic chemicals.
