I don’t have any dislikes at this time. I got it to protect the finish on my composite kayak. It does exactly what I wanted. I’ve had others notice it and say they liked it. Easy to install on the kayak and it also keeps the salt out of the connection of my Werner paddle.

Good materials. A bit excessive on the velcro for a narrow kayak. So far doesn't cause abrasions or rubs on kayak shell.

This is perfect for securing the spare paddles (in two pieces) on the kayak. Just finished 42 miles in the San Juan Islands (Northwest Washington) and I never worried about the security of my spare paddle. Worked Great and easy to install and use. You do not have to undo the bow lines to install. This uses Velcro to attach to the bow lines and it slides into place to hold the paddle.

The North Water Paddle Britches 30SK-55 were better than expected.The picture showed the product wider than I wanted.Once I received them and put on the kayak,the fit was perfect.These were the best I could find for the money.Very satisfied.I would have preferred it in red or black to better match my kayak,but no big deal.

I have a 14’ kayak and needed these to hold my spare paddle, and didn’t want to remove my deck rigging. I use the Velcro at the top end of the britches to secure it to the first deck cord of my kayak closest to the bow. I then use a cord that I attach with the Velcro at the base of the britches and tie that to the eyelet of the front carry handle. The cord winds up in a “V” arrangement. The britches cover my front hatch, but that isn’t a problem for me, since it takes a few seconds to undo if I need access to that hatch. My spare paddle is a two piece 230cm Werner with low angle blades. I put the blade tips under the deck rigging that’s closest to my cockpit. Works good, maybe an added loop at the center base of the britches where I can tie my cord (I use a shoelace) would be an option to using the Velcro for securing it to my front eyelet.
