I took a chance buying this over the internet: glad I did. Tried it in pool with other kit on December 2 in Gatineau. Ease of connection to the tank (this is a screw-in first stage, not a connecting end-to-end, so you need an Allen key to unscrew the tank's inside valve piece - very easy to do and is means less issues of O rings). Easy to install, it has a good flow of air and very comfortable in the mouth - VERY comfortable. The second stage and the saferty are both great with good lenghts of hose.Remember; this is first and second stages: it does not include your air gage and depth gage, which you need to buy separately and have installed. You would pay for this also in a new kit, just be forewarned so that it does not come as a surprise (me, I took this from previously owned kits, which the dive shop checked and attached in record time).The only downside at this time: if you need servicing, then it will be hard as there does not seem to be qualified persons in Central and Eastern Canada.Still, until it requires such repairs this is a great first piece. However, keep in mind this is for dives in +10°C water: do not buy it you are planning cold water/cold weather dive.But for summer dives and vacation dives in the South, this will meet your needs.
