The inside bottom of the pot turned green as the silver color (that I thought was stainless steel) leached away after a month of use.The description says it's 1500 watts. It's not. The base of the device says it's 1200 watts. I'm going to keep it because it seems to be okay otherwise. Having my water heat up 20% slower is not going to be a game changer for me. But I'm disappointed by the obvious deception. You get what you pay for.
