From the Manufacturer

PanaVise 354 brass jaws are replacement jaws for use with the PanaVise 303 standard vise head, the 304 low-profile head, and the 301 and 381 vise combinations. Brass jaw pads are a good choice for heavy-duty jobs in high heat conditions where the wish is also to protect the held item from possible damage from the pressure of the vise. This is accomplished through a combination of brass alloy's significant heat tolerance and the relative softness of composition which will not marr most metal surfaces. Brass is also corrosion resistant, which makes it a good choice for use in damp environments and for use with pipes. PanaVise 354 brass jaws come in pairs and include two mounting screws.

Correct fit for the standard vise.

Purchased for an older vise with steel hex cut faces. These hold the work with out scratching or damaging the surface.

These provide more strength than the stock plastic jaws, but are still unlikely to mar metal objects that are being held, because the brass is softer than steel. There is still a place for the stock jaws if you’re trying to hold something made of die-cast zinc or plastic, so keep them handy; switching from one set of jaws to the other is a matter of a minute or so.

Got these to replace the plastic jaws on my Panavise. Fit perfectly and they don't deform or melt. Work great for my needs.

These brass jaws are excellent for holding a small steel workpiece securely without scratching it.BTW – several reviewers said that the supplied mounting screws were too short. I didn’t find that to be the case, but I know why they thought so. The holes in the jaws for the screws aren’t on the center line. Consequently, there’s a right way and a wrong way to place the jaws on the jaw faces. The right way is short side down. If you place them long side down, the jaws won’t properly fit into the jaw face recess, and the screws will seem to be too short.

These wee brass jaws will never mount on my 8" vise, and I knew they would not. I just wanted two pieces of soft metal to clamp around parts that I secure in my 8" vise without marring the part to be worked on. I knew I could get these quickly whereas my local big box stores had no brass vise jaws and I did not need a 3-4 foot section of brass bar stock. These will fit my soldering iron vise though. I ordered what I needed at the moment and received them on time.

Great addition to PanaVise. The screws that hold the jaws, however are too short to securely hold them. I went to the local hardware store and bought slightly longer screws and now that are good to go.

good product for holding harder metals that you don't want scratched but need to hold tightly. All the Pana Vise products are excellent and do the job.
