Pretty nicely made piece for the money. I have a few Edge products at this point and have been more than pleased with their quality and attention to detail. The product was shipped super fast despite it not being listed as a Prime option.

Great parallel separator. No more using springs, rubber bands or bent pieces of saw blades. Good quality and about half price if what Kurt wants for them. I have seen someone posting that they can make them for less and I say good luck with that. You can do it if your time isn’t worth anything to to you. Since I have two buses, I purchased a second pair and can’t wait to get it.

Parallels are awesome, but they fall over really easily. If you have to perform the same operation on multiple pieces, you have to clean out all the chips meticulously and set everything back up between jobs. I was constantly pulling my setup apart, brushing it out, tapping it all back together, and even then I spoiled more than one job by allowing a parallel to slip out of position in some small way.Life is better with this parallel separator. I can do one clean setup, and it stays clean no matter how many jobs I do. The black metal bits that actually hold the parallels have a slight amount of flex, but they are rigid enough to do the job. The springs are stout enough to hold the parallels firmly, but not so stout that you have to use the vise to compress them. It has every appearance of being built to last. It even works just fine in a 5" vise.
