Your cart is empty. The Planted seat bracket is made with 3/16 inch thick steel for superior strength. It is built to accept sliders from most major seat manufacturers like Bride, Cipher Auto, Cobra, Corbeau, Momo, OMP, Racetech, Recaro, Sparco, Status and more. Extra material is provided for direct seat or side mount applications where eliminating sliders is preferred. They are finished with a black powder coat and applications are available for most cars.

Installed in a 2006 Mini Cooper S bolted to a Sparco R100 seat with Sparco RailsThe bracket does what it's supposed to do with some coaxing. The bolts into the floor plan didn't quite line up and it took me a lot of fiddling to get all 4 in. I started with the seat bolted to the bracket, but ended up fighting it too long, removed the bracket from the seat and just bolted the bracket to the floor then bolted the seat to the bracket. I spent well over an hour trying to get 4 bolts in until I found the magic combination of holding the bracket up off the floor, get each one of the bolts started with a few threads and then tighten everything down letting the bolts tweek the bracket into place. Also, the tab sticking up for the seat belt was out just a little too far and hitting the trans tunnel so I had to bend it a bit. I understand that every car is a little different, but this was a fight to get it in. The drivers side one bolted right in with no issues. The bracket itself is heavy duty and well made. I have no concerns about the safety of the bracket itself, I think they just need a little more QC in their fixture when welding the brackets together. When spending $140 for what is essentially a piece of plate steel with some tabs welded to it, I hoped for a little more precision in the final product.
