The Paw Paw is a great choice if you are looking to add a dash of the tropics to your yard or garden area. The leaves of the Paw Paw are large and drooping with a tropical look to them. In April and May the small tree produces beautiful large flowers before producing medium-sized, edible fruit. The fruit has an unusual taste, somewhat like a mix of banana, pineapple, and mango. The tree is smallish, growing to only about 15-20 feet high and 20 feet wide. It has a rounded, upward growth habit that works well for group planting. The Paw Paw prefers full sun to partial shade and loose soil. It is hardy in Zones 5-9 and requires more than one tree in order to pollinate and produce fruit. Our Paw Paw trees are grown from seedlings, they are not grafted. Paw Paw trees grown from seeds normally begin flowering and fruiting in 4-8 years, depending on location and the care the tree receives. USDA ZONES: Zone 5, Zone 6, Zone 7, Zone 8, Zone 9

My plant arrived in a timely fashion. The tree appeared dormant, but after a few days leaves started to sprout. Once in the ground it has taken off nicely. I’m very excited to own a paw paw!

I was nervous about ordering plants from Amazon, but took a chance because of the positive reviews. There was an error with my order, so I reach out to the seller. They promptly replied to my message and corrected the issue immediately. PlantMeGreen provided nice seedlings and the plants arrived in good condition! Now it is up to me to help these plants thrive.

Good care in packaging. One was looking good from the start, the other looked like a poted stick. The questionable one was flexible so I gave it some time. After about 2 weeks I started to see buds forming. Don't loose hope as long as there is some give to the stem.Looking forward to watching the trees grow.

Amazing that you can send plant through delivery They came nicely boxed and watered. They adjusted for a couple of days and then I planted them. About 4 feet tall out of box. So far they seem to be adjusting. Hopefully they will bear fruit in a few years.

Planted in the Columbia Gorge, early November. Plants arrived with full leaves and healthy condition. Was actually surprised they wrapped it so well. It's April now, PAW Paws survived the winter and leaves bloomed this spring looking very healthy. Safe bet on this order.... because you me know!

Trees arrived. One leafed out other did not. They came budding out but only one leafed out well. I thought maybe it would leaf out but never did. Amazon say I can’t return because it’s out of window. Picture did not look like finish product.

Arrived promptly and looks healthy. It was smaller than I expected, no branches or leaves. It did come in a pot with soil though, and was grown from a seed and not grafted. (You need 2 genetically different trees for pollination and being grown from seed accomplishes this) So you won't have to worry about pollination issues if you get more than one! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating was because of the small size and no signs of life yet.I have it in the ground, nearby another one that I also got today from another vendor. I will update in a couple weeks once it's had time to sprout some leaves.

One of the 2 is not growing. Got them last fall they didn’t have leaves. Was going to return them but decided to give them a chance. Now can’t get ahold of the seller
