This is exactly what I needed to install my old Hummingbird Depth finder/fish finder on my new/used boat. The connector plugged right in to my unit so, all I had to do was run the cable to my battery. This connector comes already attached to a more than long enough multi strand, two conductor cable for running 12 volt power from one end of your boat to the other and then some. Also, there is an RF filter pre-installed in-line about a foot from the connector end and the whole cable is well insulated. The terminal end is already stripped and tinned ready to connect to power. The connector end also has good strain relief and should last a good long time with regular use. This is a great value as it put my old Hummingbird back in action at an affordable price.

Fits my 9" Helix model exactly like the original cable. No problems from voltage loss along the cable, and the plug stays securely in place on the unit. Nice replacement cable.
