Very good product, high quality video, long cable, the flashlight is very powerful. I used it during the day at a depth of around 60 feet and it worked perfectly and the infrared works perfectly. I compared it to other products on the market and this is the one that worked the best.

This camera has excellent image quality, but the pros stop there. The mounting/weight system is completely useless. There is no way to hang it so it is suspended and facing to the side to see fish suspended. Even on the bottom of the lake, the camera usually lands at a slight downward angle so the image is completely useless, it is just taking a video of the lake bottom. I tried rigging it up without the included weight but the camera floats, so again, useless. With some clip-on weights you may be able to struggle and get a good angle on the bottom, but suspended sideways shots are pretty much impossible due to the incredible lack of thought put into the mounting/hanging system. The designers of this product clearly never actually tried using it themselves to see if it would work.

I bought this camera for identifying the composition of bait balls that I often come across while fishing off the central coast of California. Some species I'll stop and catch for live bait and others I'll pass on. I've only used the camera a couple of times so far and it works exactly as I'd hoped. I fabricated a way of attaching it to my downrigger weight and send it down and back that way.

I bought the Chasing CF1 hoping it would be the perfect underwater camera for ice fishing, and while the HD video quality is seriously impressive, the factory mount design is a total letdown. It only mounts from the bottom, which makes it awkward to use in vertical drops or mid-water column setups. The camera kept tilting weirdly and the cable was always in the way.Then I found this top-mount upgrade fin, and it COMPLETELY changed the game. It lets you angle the camera exactly how you want—up, down, forward, or straight down—and it takes all the stress off the cable. It’s made of high-quality PETG plastic and fits like a glove. Doesn’t block the lens either.Now this thing is the best underwater camera I’ve ever used, hands down. If you’re using the CF1 without this upgrade, you’re not getting the full experience. Highly recommend!
