This package is the way to go. I got this along with the hardware bag which has really lighten my load. The hi hat stand is very sturdy and does not wobble when dancing on the pedal. Good investment for a working drummer.

Don't expect these to feel like something out of Area-51's basement. They will now "BLOW YOUR MIND" with how light they are. They are a lot lighter than stands in this price range/reliability range. But still heavier than something you could buy from PDP. But you really can't ask for more in terms of sturdiness, reliability and affordability. Pearl aren't going to compromise quality for anything, so that's the trade off. They are lighter than most, but far from the lightest. For me it feels like I'm carrying half the weight of my normal rig, which really saves my back. They compact really well, so they fit in a hardware bag with plenty of room for other gear. They look super retro, which i love. They are really sturdy for my needs. I'm not hanging lots of arms and extensions to them. The high hat feels amazing with plenty of options for personification. The snare basket looks very simple but is very easy to tweak (especially if you're finicky about getting the angle just right) and I've used if for a tom and a snare. The cymbal stands themselves feel rock solid. Nothing fancy, but nothing compromised either. The lighter weight is a super happy bonus, but not a selling point.
