Save yourself the trouble, DO NOT BUY THIS. This thing is so incredibly cheaply made that is actually impressive.Engineer: “Hey we need to make it spin? We should use a pair of bearings”Manager: “Nah, just use a bolt and let it run along the hole, it’ll work for a bit”Engineer: “Hey we should engineer the optimum holes for compost ejection for a even lay down”Manager: “Nah, just take the same metal we make gutter screens out of and make sure you don’t bend them enough to actually fit. Also eyeball the screw hole locations. And make sure the handle falls off while you’re using it because the screws back off”Engineer: “Why don’t we use nylon lock nuts on the handle screws?”Manager: “Oh you sweet simple fool”Bottom line:This thing is the worst. Save your money and avoid fully embracing the dark side of the force as you use this. If Yoda used this he’d have been a sith by the time he was done with it. This leads to anger, anger leads to hatred. I cannot describe how stupid I feel for buying this.It’s too late for me, but you, you can avoid my fate and just buy a regular dang compost spreader. Or heck, use a bucket, it’s better than this heap.
