I looked on another site and saw a very similar products for just about the same price. After reading the reviews on the other site I decided to take the leap and purchase this one. I’m glad I did. The wood is solid, not layered press board. Super easy to put together, beautiful stain color and stable once you put the pendulums in the slots. I was worried about that as well Looks like I’ll be needing to purchase another!

Wood glue alone will not make this display stand sturdy, I will have to use material to snug up the joints. Do more shopping before purchasing this unit. My woodworking knowledge will save this from being returned but I am disappointed that I overpaid for the quality.

Takes some work, filing, and glue to get this piece together, but once it is filed up and glued in, it works well, and is attractive. If holding anything on cord or material, be sure to file inside the wood area where you hang your piece. It is rough in there, and will tear at fabric type cords and necklaces.
