When added to your aquarium, it produces a steady flow of bubbles, providing a better supply of oxygen to your fish. It attaches easily to any air pump with standard 3/16’’ airline tubing (sold separately). This pack of airstones is advertised very clearly, very plainly on the package as being "fine/mist" airstones. In fact, the airstones are what I would call (after about 40 yrs of experience with fresh and salt water aquariums) medium-course, at best, like any other typical airstone. If you are looking for a misting stone, please don't flush your hard-earned money down the toilet on this product.My experience with this product makes me think of words like misrepresentation of the product, false advertising, unethical business practices.Have a nice day...

I bought these to put in my sponge filters so I needed something just slightly smaller than the standard 1” stones since the sponge filters aren’t huge. Haven’t had any issues with these and there’s really nothing bad to say about them….they do what they say they do and I like the ability to rig my sponge filters with air stones so these haven’t done me wrong yet and I def recommend.

These air stones are poor quality. The first one I used only had bubbles come out of one place at the top of the air stone. The other air stones had large bubbles come out of two or three spots. I will be looking for some better quality air stones moving forward.

This is a pretty simple product that either works or doesn't. Right out of the box this dispurses the air bubbles very well, which is what you need.A nice column of bubbles will move more water. This is the purpose of an air stone... to circulate water from the bottom to the top. These work very well and there are plenty of them.This produces such a column of air that this would work for making compost tea also. Very well made, good product.
