ペンタックスアイピースの同シリーズに焦点距離の違うものとして購入。とびきり高性能ではないが、像が落ち着いているところが気に入ってます。

F5くらいの焦点比の望遠鏡で使用すると、一般的に使用される有効的な最高倍率が得られます。性能の高いEDレンズ等を使用した屈折鏡筒で使用するのには適しています。安価なアクロマート鏡筒では覗いても対物レンズの色収差が拡大されるばかりで、あまりきれいには見えません。仕様として、防水仕様になっている点は夜露対策の面で安心ですね。
