We needed taps to fit our automatic quail drinkers, these are perfect and work really well. Easy to stop flow of water and easy to connect the tubing. We will also be using these for our water barrels

Like my headline says, does what it should. Using these to install on fermenters. Cheaper to do myself then ordering with this already installed. Plus I have backups in case something goes wrong.

Unlike similar Spigots, this one has two washers, one for inside and one for outside. No leaks or problems with this Spigot. I'll buy again.

These are inexpensive enough that I've installed one on every 5-gallon bucket I have, and use them interchangeably for fermenting and bottling. With the spigot sitting a couple inches above the bottom of the bucket, I can rack from one to another without having to siphon - all of the lees settle to the bottom, with the tap pulling the wine from above their level.The spigots are durable and make a good seal against the buckets' walls. They're also easy to remove, and can be cleaned easily enough with a pipe cleaner or small bottle brush. The faucet moves for nearly two thirds of its travel distance before it starts letting liquid through, greatly reducing the risk of accidental spillage when moving buckets.All in all very satisfied. These will be my go-to from now on.

The spigots that come with Ferminator fermenters frequently leak due to inferior gaskets. These have not leaked so far and the gaskets appear less likely to crack.

Make a small hole first before you use the larger 7/8 inches bit. It help keep the larger bit straight while making the hole.Works great. Spigot goes in by treading it in the hold perfect fit. Nice item, works well. Warm the washers in hot tap water. Helps the washers go on easier.
