I think if you have a multi-cat household this is a great option to avoid having to keep a half-open bag of litter in the cupboard. It rolls smoothly, is relatively easy to pour from, and is pretty sturdy. It holds a full 40lb bag of litter - though almost to the brim - but this does make it pretty heavy and difficult to pour.It's a bit on the pricey side but we've gotten enough use out of it (avoids having to carry 40lb bags of litter from tray to tray, that's for sure).I will say though that the wheels are a little temperamental - after a few months they started to come loose and needed to be reinstalled. It's a little tricky to do that on the fly - we lost a wheel while the thing was full, which wasn't fun.I think on the whole if you have multiple litter trays this is worth the money. It would probably also be good for storing and pouring kibble.

A little smaller than I thought. But it's bery sturdy. I keep my cat litter sand here. It has wheels and easy to manuever

This litter bin is very easy to roll. Has a longer handle to pull and has a pour spout that you can close so litter will not accidenlly come out and also keeps it fresh. This is much better than trying to pour litter from the bag as you usually get it on the floor. Just roll bin to litter box use handle to aim spout over letter box and pour. When finished close spout to keep litter from coming out and keep the litter fresh. Don't normally leave a lot of reviews but when something is really good quality and easy to use like this litter bin I take the time to do a review.

Expensive but great quality. I keep my cat’s litter in this because he started chewing holes in the litter bags. Now it’s cat proof and easier for me to pour!

Headline - I love everything about this gadget is great and I highly recommend it!FYI, we have 8 cats (crazy, I know, don'y judge :-) and therefore we have 6 cat boxes strategically placed around the house. I was looking for a way to store some of our cat litter closer to the boxes in the opposite end of the house for easier refilling. This box is really well made - it's very sturdy, all the parts work smoothly, it is easy to roll, easy to pour - all the things it promises. For my situation, I wish 2 things:#1, that this size was a little taller, since I have to stoop / bend just a smidge to hold the handle (and I'm only 5'4"#2, I wish there was a version / size exactly the same but about 2x larger than this - this one only holds ½ of the litter bag I buy, and it gets empty after filling 2 boxes....if it was 2x as large, I could refill it half as often and use it for twice as long. (So if there is one, please let me know, I'll buy it!)

I love this. The weight this holds is amazing with the fact that you don't feel it when pulling this along or moving it with its swivel wheels. I have a life changing back problem that means I could never lift the weight this can hold but scoops fit in there so it's great and I can move it even better.

I couldn't lift the litter bags and needed to find a solution. These bins have done the trick. I can wheel them to the litter boxes, take the lid off and scoop out the litter. No back pain. They are very sturdy able to hold at least a ten pound bag of litter. The wheels work smoothly and the opening spout is a bonus. I would buy them again.

I bought this for carting around cat litter, so I don't have to carry the bags from the garage to the other side of the house where we keep the litter box. It made it about 3 years before breaking, so really not too bad. I would use it for 28lb bags of cat litter, and was able to lift it by the handle up the three stairs from the garage into the house, a major bonus. The handle is a little short, so even at just 5'4" I had to lean to roll the cart from one room of the house to the other. I wish the handle were attached on the base, not the lid, because the lid clamps do take some effort, and so I would have to take it off after rolling back and forth to use it for daily refills in the litter box. It finally broke with the last bag of litter, with the plastic holder for the wheel cracking in half and not repairable. Going to switch to a rolling cart instead and just keep the litter in the bag.

I bought two. One for litter, and one for food. It holds both well, with some caveats:The one for food: I think it's easier for us to just open the whole lid to access, considering we only need a small amount of food for our kitties rather than using the spout. Not a flaw of the container, but it means we're actively opening and closing this one on a daily basis. It's strong and sturdy with two locks on both sides.The one for litter: Pouring the litter in simple, and using the spout for filling the litter boxes is great. I'm not sure that this is really saving us much on litter dust, but I suppose it's easier to wheel around instead of lugging a huge bag of litter.Other: The handles are convenient for moving it around, and cleaning these should be easy.The only thing I think could be a plus if included as a bonus is maybe a measuring cup and/or solid scoop of some sort for handling/dealing with smaller controlled amounts of litter or food. But still a good product.

I use to buy cat litter that came in the plastic bins but after constantly throwing away bin after bin and hating the litters, I started buying litter that comes in bags (Dr. Elsey's to be exact). The first bag I got, I made a HUGE mess all over my floor and I had made so many holes in the bag trying to dump it into my cats litter box. After the first bag, I went on a hunt for a bin to put the litter in. I looked into getting another Gamma Vault as I use one of those for cat food but it didn't seem like it would do the job.Somehow I stumbled across this and wow am I glad I did! It is so convenient to be able to wheel my litter across the room from my storage closet to my cats litter box. It also has a spout that you can open/close - I haven't used that much as it is too heavy when full of litter for me to lift. So far I have just been using my own scoop to scoop it out but I know the spout will come in handy as it gets lower. It did to my surprise fit a whole 40lb bag of Dr. Elsey's.I really am thankful to have found this product so far. I've only had it for a few weeks so I can't say how it will hold up in the long run but it seems pretty solid so I am hopeful that it will last me and my cat a very long time!
