This is a great dog helmet. It’s construction and fitment are excellent as it fit my size small dog well enough. But, it was a tad bit loose. The areas where the ears go are also perfect as overall my dogs ear seemed to be comfortable. The inside of the helmet has a nice thick rubber piece attached that’ll project the upper part of my dogs head while it does have a nice tinted visor and can be easily adjusted to pull it down or back up. However, aside the helmet looking nice and adorable on my dog, my biggest worry and thought is this helmet and perhaps many others are more of a novelty. I truly don’t believe it has enough protection in the event of a fall on a motorcycle ride. Perhaps this helmet may be useful if you were to take your doggo on a bicycle stroll but not on a motorcycle street and even less highway speed.

I got this as a surprise for my grand-dog. We watch our son and daughter-in-law's dogs when they travel for work, and we thoroughly enjoy them. We have acreage where they can run, and we enjoy having the dogs and playing with them in a temporary manner, kinda like grandkids. We play with them, spoil them, then send them home. I got this helmet for the little one, who is a miniature Scotty. And he looks adorable in it. His mama thought so too. I'm not sure how protective it will be - it's fairly thin, but for small bumps and scrapes, it should give some protection. It was very easy to put on him once he settled, and it fit quite well. I'm not sure how much use it will get, but it'll certainly put a smile on your face, and she says she will use it when she takes him in his carrier on her bike.

This is a super cute helmet with an eye shield that appears well made and sturdy. I'm impressed with the attention to detail. It's a lightweight plastic but has a generous 1/4" moderately firm foam liner, but it is not removable for cleaning. The plastic can be easily wiped clean. The rivets are screwed in place beneath the liner. There was one rivet at the very back which was not covered by the liner, but the screws are actually recessed in the helmet, so no worries regarding it rubbing. It is held in positioned on the head by the dog's ears and then secured with a Velcro strap. There is a clip to slide the end of the Velcro through, but it is difficult to get the Velcro through it as it is. A simple fix would be to cut the end at an angle with a pair of scissors. The Velcro strap leaves plenty of room for adjustments and our dog ate treats and drank while wearing it, so it does not seem to impede swallowing. The eye shield simply slides up and down into place. It is a little stiff, but if it was looser, it would work its way down when you wanted it up. Unfortunately, the eye shield is not removable, but does look good up or down. I like that it has a wider smooth bridge where it fits over the muzzle. It also does not sit too close to the eye and appears to have good ventilation as our dog had it on for over 10 minutes without any clouding or fogging. I really thought this would be another cute accessory for our dog who only has one eye. We take the dogs with us when we go out on the side by side and make stops to let them run and play. This one needs the eye protection from weeds and branches. It would work well, but unfortunately, it is too big. We measured head circumference at 14.5" which meant it should have fit, but it is much too large for her. She is a 20# Corgi mix. I believe the design itself is more suited to square headed dogs such as boxers and bullies than thinner and pointer muzzled canines. I took off one star because she was within the noted weight range and size circumference for a good fit.**Amazon Vine Program Review Disclaimer:**-I am an Amazon customer who also participates in Amazon's Vine Program. Dog is not a fan yet but it's pretty easy to put on in and of itself if she's not fighting it. Strap is adjustable for a perfect fit, and it's quite padded on the inside and actually functions as a proper protective helmet if you take your dog on your bike or motorcycle.

Cute? Above and beyond expectations.Durable? Surprisingly solid little thing. I hope my dog never has to truly test the durability but it does seem more durable than his head.Quality & Fit : this little thing is pretty quality I’d say. I hesitated when opening the box because its shine gave vibes of a a kind of chintzy toy. However once I picked this helmet up it was clear that the little thing is solid and thoughtfully designed. The interior is actually lined with nice foam, similar to my own bicycle helmet. It also has a chin strap with Velcro that is adjustable and made from a decent backpack-strap-nylon material. The adjustable eye protection is not flimsy but it is the one part of the helmet that poses challenges. It just seems slightly askew of where it needs to be to suit my dog.The ear holes made sense and my dog didn’t totally hate it. I do appreciate the spikes on top for more than just their punk aesthetic- we have bald eagles and raptors in this area and I don’t think they will hold onto anything with spikes in it for long.We are going to spend a little time with it on him every day -rewarding him each time. I hope that soon he will be fine wearing it while I ride him around in the basket on my bicycle! Overall I’m happy with this helmet and will be using it as it is definitely functional, not just a prop or costume.

This helmet with spikes and connect googles is really cute. I liked the functionality of the velcro for strap closure and easy adjustment. This isn't for safety purposes so the quality of the helmet, and fixtures seems good enough. We thought the connected helmet and goggles would be easier to manage than our two piece setup, however, we were disappointed with the connected pull down shield. It limits the value of this item because it fits too closely to the pets face; if the pet has very short hair this might work. We also found the visor too short to be useful, stopping a little short of covering the eyes. We have another helmet from this brand with separate goggles that is a better fit and add more flexible fitting options for our pet.
