Bought the ramp and legs. Left them in the pool for a month and the legs literally disintegrated. Chlorine water and these legs just don't make it. If you are going to use them, you must remove the ramp after each use, and I would suggest you rinse off the legs. Really not worth the effort. The ramp is heavy and very sturdy, but the legs are good for only one season!

We ordered this item and within 2 weeks the legs were bent and wouldn't support the dog. The metal bends very easy and did not support the activity of the dog on the ramp. The legs were too high also. We have the ramp in the inground pool and the shallow end is 3 feet. The legs were too high so we had to cut 4 inches off the legs which made them perfect. We have 2 labs and the legs did not support them In fact, we had another set of pool leg kit enroute to our home for the 2nd ramp we purchased however while in transit the first set broke and are not usable. We haven't even opened this pair of legs and plan on returning them this week. We ended up making our own legs which are really awesome. And STURDY!!! These legs we built won't break. Sorry for the poor review but these legs were such a disappointment and for bigger dogs, the two leg slanted design is terrible. It needs a better design like the ones we made :)

I got this for my 2 English Bulldogs in case they ever fell into my pool. The rod tha keeps the legs sturdy slips down. Also the bolts the secure it became rusted pretty quickly. Company is great, product if wet, stinks.

I never actually got to try this one out because I mistakenly thought that it comes with everything you need to use it right out of the box. But this item is only an accessory to a very expensive main piece: the ()The item I'm reviewing here is only the legs that you attach to the Petstep ramp. It looks like a fantastic idea though for the safety of your animals, so I'm rating it a four out of five with the caveat that I didn't ever get a chance to really use it since I don't own the ramp itself.
