Unlike the PFEIL spoon knife, this tool is great for use in carving the bowls of wooden spoons. This tool exceeded my expectations, and was ready to use right out of the box.

A good Gouge, but I personally did not like the handle, after a long work, my palm aches, which is not observed with round handles.
