Comes with large hot/cold sticker on it that is not pictured. Disappointed as the sticker is unsightly. Otherwise ok.

Needed a replacement handle because my old one was corroded in place and I need to replace the cartridge. Never used the shower head. Handle and plate look great.

Have an older 1989 or so fixture in the shower. Bought this because I strongly dislike the clear plastic knobs they use on those. Mold grows behind it and eventually the hot/cold cap or screw cover falls off and gets lost eventually. This comes with stuff I didn't need - the shower head and pipe. I also had to bend the back plate inner circle to get it to fit over my fixture. The pull handle and adapter worked really well though, and that was the reason for purchase. I made it work and am happy with.

Bought this in order to convert my very 90s Avanti crystal handle to a more modern handle. This model was the only one that supposedly works with the old Avanti style shower (X08?) valve body that is in the wall.My major gripe and why I rated it sooo low is that the entire handle is held in place by a single tiny set screw with a pointed end that 'pinches' the very end of the handle.This is the same handle that you need to PULL and PUSH on in order to control the water flow. So you're PULLING and the only thing keep the handle from just coming off is a tiny set screw. And this is supposed to last years and years???Don't get me wrong.. it does work..but I have SERIOUS doubts about its longevity. If you're flipping or selling a house and want to update an old 80-90s style shower valve and then plan on ditching the property -- this is fine.However, if ya plan on living there and having children or guests use your shower -- expect to replace it in 2-5yrs. and spend another $45-80 to fix it when it breaks.

I had to change my cartridge in my shower valve and the new cartridge didn't work with the old faceplate. This kit works awesome, looks well made and easy to install. Great value for the money.
