I wouldn't consider this a COLD Air intake... I would more consider this a Short Ram Air Intake. It does breathe better, but it would be more ideal if it actually was breathing in some cold air. But I will say it definitely add some beauty & shine under the hood!Fun little add-on for minor HP increase. Also makes the Jeep sound a little more THROATY.

Got this item today, I assembled and installed this on my 1999 WJ Limited Edition. It took me about 2 min to assemble and 1 minute to install. It feels like my Jeep can breathe now. She sounds a lot throatier when you push the pedal down. Seems like it has more power. This is a nice simple and cheap upgrade that is very effective. I would recommend this to anyone who has a WJ.
