The M832 printer works with letter or A4 size paper and with label sizes of 53mm, 80mm, and 110mm in width. The support for label sizes enables the printer to be used in place of mini printers such as my Phomemo T02 which supports only limited label sizes. The printer has two manual, adjustable clips for positioning the different paper rolls sizes within the printer; I find these clips difficult to handle and put into place. Though thermal stickers labels are not listed as consumables for the product, I found that it will work if only one of the adjustable clips is used to position the roll. If two clips are used, the sticker paper roll binds with the clips and cannot roll freely.The iOS app used for some of the other Phomemo printers works with the M832, though the Bluetooth interface works slow.One needs to follow the instructions given for downloading and installing the latest Windows driver for the M832. If not, Windows may automatically install the M832 Bluetooth driver, which is not recommended. If the M832 Bluetooth happens to be listed in the available printers, do not choose it for printing. The USB driver works well with my Windows ARM Microsoft Surface 11 PC. I removed the M832 (Bluetooth) support by removing it from Windows setup in the "Bluetooth & devices".The printer has a USB-C port for charging and PC connection. It comes with a 30-inch USB-A to USB-C data cable useful for charging with a 5V charger and also for connection to PC with a USB-A connector. There is also a supplied 4-inch adapter cable to connect with the USB-A to USB-C cable to connect the printer to a PC with only a USB-C connector; this was needed for my Surface Pro 11 (ARM) PC. The supplied cables support data transfer and if alternative cables are used one should make sure they are not charging cables which will not work.A caution label says the charger output should not exceed 5V. The power light will flash when charging. If the printer to PC connection is using the USB-C connector on the PC, one may see the power light flashing also since the PC's USB-C connector will also charge the printer while waiting for printing.For me, the printer’s cutting edge is hard to use without ripping up the paper; a scissor provides a clean cut.A hard carrying case is supplied. The printer snuggly fits with room for paper rolls.The M832 is a nice convenient mobile printer. The use of fan-folded thermal paper may make the printer a good short-term alternative for printouts at home or office: Its private (close-by), the 300 dots per inch resolution is not bad, and the fan-fold paper makes it more convenient to use.I consumed the entire letter size roll of paper just to do the testing on the PC. But it was worth it to realize that it is a great printer for what it was designed to do: Portable, mobile printer for documents and labels with adequate business resolution.

Die App selbst ist auf Deutsch und intuitiv eingerichtet.Man wird gefragt, welches Papier man verwendet oder eingelegt hat. Die Auswahl ist Rolle, Einzelblatt oder Etikettenpapier in schwarz. Anschließend fragt die App, ob man ein Dokument oder ein Bild drucken möchte. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit sich über die integrierte KI sich etwas generieren zu lassen. Dafür hat man 3 Möglichkeiten, mit denen wird man weitergeleitet, um für weitere Nutzungsmöglichkeiten der KI-basierten Inhalte ein Abo abzuschließen. Dieses kostet 32,00€ als Jahresabonnement.Ich benötige diese Funktion nicht, daher ist die Info für das Abo hier auch nur nennenswert, jedoch kein Kriterium zur Bewertung des Gerätes.Nachdem man sich nun für Dokument oder Foto entschieden hat - der Drucker druckt nur schwarz, kann man dieses im nächsten Auswahlmenü noch bearbeiten und optimieren. Der letzte Schritt ist nun die Bestätigung des Druckens und der Drucker startet mit seiner Aufgabe.Ich empfand den Ausdruck als recht schnell erledigt und auch der Druck selbst überzeugte mich für einen portablen Thermodrucker. Ich hatte ein Lego-Fahrzeug für den Druck ausgewählt, welches im Foto natürlich auch Farben enthielt. Diese wurden vom Drucker aber überzeugend in differenzierten Graustufen gedruckt und klar und scharf abgebildet.Nach dem Druck kann das Gedruckte am Rand des Druckers sorgfältig abgetrennt oder eben mit einer Schere abgeschnitten werden.Für einen mobilen Drucker bringt dieser Thermodrucker alle Funktionen mit, die man für unterwegs benötigt. Die Drucke sind klar und sauber. Farben werden in Grauabstufungen gut "übersetzt". Der Kleine ist schnell im Druck und genauso schnell auch platzsparend zu verstauen.

Got this printer for on the go printing and have used it with both a smartphone and ipad.For on the go printing, this has been working out perfect.First, the carrying case it comes with is nice, as it holds the printer, cords, and paper so you have everything you need right there with you.I do alot of printing at meetings and also while outdoors (camping) when I need to print out lists or diagrams, and this has been more than helpful.I had no problem synching this to either the phone or the ipad.It is a thermal printer, so I have found that text and black and white pictures and diagrams with thicker lines come out best. It does not do that well with photographs with a lot of detail. I would not recommend this for printing photographs, and it is not really meant for that anyway.Having a choice of multiple size papers is a nice feature, so you are not wasting your thermal paper if you are printing out something small; however, it does print out full size pages nicely. Do remember, this is thermal paper coming off of a roll, not printer paper, so the thickness of the paper is really different. Think of a cash register receipt quality paper.It really easy to use, pretty much plug and play. It has the option to use bluetooth or USB which is another convenience. They include a USB A to USB C adaptor so if your computer/phone does not have a USB A connector you can still use a direct connection.For on the go printing with ease, I can't say enough about this printer. It has made some tasks easier by being able to print on the go or out in the field. Other than photographs, the printing looks great, plus its a good little attention getter when other people see you using it.

I was on the hunt for a thermal printer that could handle basic document printing without the hassle and clutter of a full sized printer in the office. This little guy definitely delivered. It checks all of the boxes for a quick, simple job and even goes the extra mile with bonus thermal printer rolls in different sizes as well as a protective case. It does feel like you get more value compared to a lot of other options floating around.That being said, dropping almost $100 on it feels a bit steep for what it is. I'm fully aware it's printing on rolled thermal paper, but heads up, the prints don't come out flat like they show in stock photos. It's far more curled up than a crisp flat sheet and takes some heavy items to completely flatten it out. Because of that, I don't see myself using it heavily for full time use.In addition, the app is pretty hassle-free and seamless. However, it does not connect to iPhone Air Printers, so you have to use the app everytime you want to print something. An additional opportunity I identified and did not expect.Still, for a quick on the go print, It's a very handy gadget that gets the job done.

La trovo molto comoda, poco ingombrante e le stampe sono di buon livello.Mi sta tornando utilissima per il lavoro e l’unico problema che mi rimane sono i costi di gestione, mi riferisco alla carta termica, problema peraltro comune a tutte le stampanti di questo tipo.
