This is, size-wise, a simple, drop-in replacement for the Blacktop Broad'Tron found in the G5622T. The mounting screw holes line up perfectly on the top. The clip clips right into the electronics. Easiest pickup change I've ever done.HOWEVER, one obvious difference with the Orange Stain version (and a couple others) is the pickup ring is silver rather than gold. I am fairly certain that Gretsch part # 0096608000 is the gold version of the same fit. (The pickup itself is smaller than the Broad'Tron, even though the rings fit the guitar)One less obvious difference is that the pickup is chrome. The stock pickups on the G5622t are nickel. If you're changing both, no problem! If you're changing one (as I was), it's a matter of taste, I suppose.I hope this helps.

Installed this in my Gretsch G2215-P90 Streamliner Junior Jet Club. This guitar came with a Broad’Tron that I was underwhelmed by, so I thought a Filter’Tron would sound better. I’m so happy with the sound now. The P90 in the neck position, and this Filter’Tron in the bridge position is a much better combination. This pickup is much brighter, and louder than the old bridge pickup. I needed to snip off the little white connector piece, and then strip off the wires so that I could solder to the existing wires. I also used heat shrink tubing to protect the soldered connections, otherwise the exposed wires would have made contact with the bottom of the pickup, causing the pickup to not work.

Both the neck and bridge pickups from the company sound awesome. They made my second ever handmade guitar project sound awesome. I only have one complaint: the neck pickup wire is not long enough. (bridge has ample) It was several inches short and I had to splice and solder more wire onto the ground and hot to be able to reach my control cavity. Shockingly, it worked, but it was quite tedious. Make the wires longer, and I’d call these the perfect buy for the price.

Love these pickups, I swapped them into my streamliner and it fixed the muddy tone issues straight away. For the price can't beat them.
