Bar started bending and failing at connection joint after just a month of intermittent use. Definitely a safety issue no doubt. They claim its rated for up to 600 pounds but I was only using 180lbs of resistance bands. Product only had 30 day return period so expect to buy a higher quality bar. Beware of similar products with different brand names using the same bar.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered this Pilates bar kit, but I’ve been blown away by how versatile and effective it is.The bar itself is sturdy and easy to assemble and the resistance bands offer a great range of tension for different workouts. I use it for full-body toning—especially legs, glutes, and arms—and it’s made a big difference in my routine. What I love most is how convenient it is. I can get in a solid workout from home without needing big, bulky gym equipment. It’s also lightweight and portable, so I can take it with me when I travel. The included guide was helpful for getting started, and I’ve even found a bunch of workouts online to switch things up. If you're looking for a low-impact but challenging workout option, this kit is a great buy!

The bar itself feels really solid and well-made. It’s made of thick steel and has a soft nitrile rubber grip that stays comfortable even when I’m sweating. The adjustable straps on the ends make it easy to customize the length depending on the exercise or my height, and I feel confident pushing the resistance since it can handle up to 600 pounds. The set comes with six resistance bands that give you a total of 210 pounds of resistance. I like that the bands are covered in durable nylon sleeves because it makes them feel safer and longer-lasting. Whether I want a lighter or heavier workout, these bands work great for my strength level and adjust well as I get stronger.I also appreciate how complete this kit is. It has everything I need for a full workout, including door anchors, handles, foot straps, ankle straps, and even a workout poster. It’s really versatile, letting me target pretty much every muscle group from legs and glutes to arms and shoulders. It’s been great for mixing up my routine between pilates, resistance training, and stretching.Assembly is quick and simple thanks to the three-piece bar that screws together nicely. The whole kit is lightweight and comes with a convenient carrying bag, which means I can easily take it with me if I want to workout at the gym, office, or even while traveling.Overall this kit feels professional but still easy to use at home. It’s a great alternative to bulky gym machines and perfect for anyone wanting a full body workout that fits into their schedule and space.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and versatility of this item. It is sturdy and well made. It’s modular style lets you configure it for a variety of exercises or levels of resistance. There are three types of grips, different ways to use the bar, and a series of exercises that rely on securing the equipment with a closed door. There were no written instructions, but if you study the sheet with the pictures of sample exercises, it becomes pretty clear what you are meant to do. They even include a little safety sign to put on the door when you are doing that kind of exercise. The resistance bands are covered and clip on securely so I feel confident they are safe to use. The whole apparatus seems very well thought out and designed, and is a great addition to my home gym. I can dismantle it and put it all in the included storage bag, so it is highly portable as well. I enjoy using it.

This has a good quality feel to it, especially compared to other types of band resistance workout sets. For comparison I give you pic 1 comparing handles. Large, well padded, thick nylon straps, hefty D ring and bigger thicker carabiners. Pic 2 compares door stops. I mean really. With individual bands you don't have to fight a band pulling more on one side or trying to pull your feet together if you're standing on it. All of the resistance is concentrated along the direction of moment and no perpendicular or tangent forces at play so you can focus on the exercise and muscle group and not fighting the equipment. The other benefit of individual bands is you can use multiple bands at once! 3!(factorial) is 6 different resistance combinations. The ankle cuff deserves special mention since it's extremely comfortable and well padded, no nylon straps digging into your achilles tendon! Now it's not all roses....especially if you're short. Regardless of height the isometric exercises you can do, twists etc..., work fine. I would suggest that the best way to use it for traditional free weight exercises is always with a door. This way you can control the distance from the door to always get a nice resistance throughout the complete motion. This is where individual straps excel again as a shorter length of band means a more consistent resistance throughout the whole range of motion instead of too easy in the beginning and too hard at the end. Now I'm only 164cm/5'4" but squats were still comfortable, just remember you can adjust the length of straps attached to the bar!You also need to understand that exercises are not the same as with free weights. For example in a squat with free weights you are still fighting the weight at the bottom of your squat. This is not the case with bands where at the bottom you will feel the least resistance if any at all. Now this isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially for us older folk looking to maintain muscle mass and stay in shape. Because the resistance drops at the start(end depending on how you look at it) of a motion it is safer if you don't have the strength to continue. Doing a squat with free weights you cannot stop at the bottom and it's the reason we have squatters! Now the only thing that remains to be seen is how long these particular latex bands last because they'll all go at sometime, just the nature of the material. Thankfully each band is incased in material so if a band does snap the parts will still stay connected and you won't get any band pieces whipping around.

I've been using this resistance band kit for a couple days now and really like it. There is 25, 35 and 45 lb resistance. It has door anchors, along with a bar, ankle straps, foot bands, and an exercise handle. It also comes with a convenient carrying case. Now, there are no instructions - which I know irks some people. I don't have much experience with exercise equipment, but from looking over the listing I was able to figure out what the use of everything was.You also get a sheet of exercises you can do with the equipment.I will see how the material in the 25, 35 and 45lb bands holds up over time and update if necessary.5/5

I chose this set because the bands are covered so I wouldnt have to worry about them breaking and snapping me. Everything is well made. My only issue is the bands are so long that with squat bar i dont feel resistance untill nearly fully standing. Im 5'7" and straps on bar are adjusted to shortest position and that is not nearly enough because of band length. If i were 6' tall I could feel the resistance half way up which would be more beneficial but still zero resistance in full squat position.

Happy with the cost and speed of shipment. I had Free Next-Day available. One of the 25lbs strap snapped the first lift with it on the pole. I will need a replacement of the 25lbs strap when I just tried using it the first time. Also, these cloth covered rubber straps are shorter than I expected them to be, too. The pole is thick enough with the soft foam cushioning around the bar, and the 2 strap handles. It's a nice looking set, but I'm concerned if the rubber was exposed to something which weakened them. Too cold or too high heat, maybe. I can't measure the workout effectiveness of it not knowing if another one will pop on me.
