Have yet to see a cat open their mouth to get medicated pill injector or not. This product came with no instructions at all. Not even any helpful hints. The only thing it says on the package “Soft without wounds Soild feeder”. Huh? Although some cats are more willing to take medication than others, we thought this might be an easier way to medicate instead of the ‘pry open mouth — try to get pill to back of throat — get bitten — spit out pill — repeat. With some trial and error, one person can medicate a difficult cat by putting the cat between your legs (kneeling or sitting position), opening the mouth and with the pill injector in position, depress plunger. FYI — make sure the silicone tip is on securely or the plunger will not dispense the pill.
