This doesn’t ream the harsh edge from the cut tub. Deburring actually but leaves so much behind like more burrs

I bought this about 1.5 years ago for plumbing. It is heavy duty and has lots of reaming blades both inside and out. I've used reamers with fewer blades and they dulled with rather few uses and in the end they had to be replaced making the Ridgid a better value and everything about it is high quality.I never had anything bad to say about it. Its everythingbit was advetised to be and works great. The quality and complexity of the design really is worth the price. It is never OK to rate a product 1 or 2 stars for something it was never intended to do.Some reviews have complained about it not working on sizes it's listed for but they should have read the description since it explains the sizing. Besides, anyone who knows the basics of plumbing knows pipe is measured by the inside. As a reault, pipe comes in different thicknesses resulting in different outside diameters. A 1in copper pipe (type L) has an ID of 1.025in/OD 1.125in. 1in ridgid pipe has an ID of 1.063in/OD 1.315in. If a an ID/OD reamer is listed as 3/4in - 1-1/4in capacity then it's maximum OD should be considered 1.25in while 1in ridgid spec is 1.315in OD therefore the 1-1/4in capacity reamer can't ream the OD of 1in ridgid's 1.315in OD.The reamer eeth are also not anything like a fine file so it can not be expected to give the same smooth finish as a fine file. In most uses you won't need a fine finish, just smooth enough to fit easily and not damage wiring or hoses if that is what its being used for using it for. Any liquid flowing through won't be affected in any practical manner.I've seen 1 star reviews saying it's great which tells me it's purposely misleading. Another review says it won't work on fittings but that is never necessary or a requirement, which tells me that person is misleading or not bright.
