Terrible packing for such a heavy piece. Packing was shredded in multiple areas. Case was cracked. Cutters were Not NPT

The ratchet started slipping half way through the first thread I attempted on a 3/4” galvanized pipe. I reverse mounted the die and was able to finish that thread. I got 3 threads into my next attempt and the ratchet failed in that direction too. Any pressure on the ratchet in either direction results in slipping. This threader is junk…don’t waste your money.

Out of box I tried to thread a piece of 1 inch galvanized pipe and ratchet broke on first use.Internal cast sleeve that holds thread heads broke in two places.
