I've only just put this string on my cello and it immediately resounded with a warm yet crisp response. It is so smooth to play. I will buy more this series for my other string. Over the years I have used Larson and Spirocore combination in the past as well as the Pirastro Passione series of strings. This G certainly rates up their with them if not surpasses them, at least on my cello. Currently It is combined with the Passione strings and works well.
