Very high quality string with lots of resonance. Definitely better than my previous set of Jargar strings that I had been using for years.

I was so excited by these reviews when my A string broke. However, after putting in the string and tuning for the first time the string snapped. I was very disappointed, to say the least!

An excellent new string whose tone blended perfectly with existing strings.

I found that the Jarger A was too bright for my particular cello. The Evah Pirazzi Soloist has a warmer tone and works well with my other strings. It also settled in pretty quickly. I have also used Eviah Pirazzi strings on my violin for a number of years and have found them quite reliable and well balanced. Hopefully the cello version will serve as well.

These are very much like the Larsen Soloist A and D strings but a tad brighter and stronger. The tone is still full and complex on my cello. I'm using both the A and D and they match the Larsen Magnacore's perfectly that I am using for the G and C.
