I got it to transport to multiple handguns. Before I was taking them in separate boxes and it was very inconvenient as you needed to watch them on the range, loop each box security cord around the back seat mount in a car (state law) and carry those small boxes in a big bag to and out of the car. This case solves it. It can take up to 5 handguns and 17 magazines. Foam is quite soft, so joined slots can easily take revolvers as well. Magazines fit perfectly as well. Case has lock holes on both sides which is more secure than having a single lock hole in the middle. Plus your hand is not getting slapped with the lock when you are walking. Two TSA approved code locks are included. Also included a reusable desiccant box. Once in a quarter you need to throw it into a convection oven to dry it up. The desiccant is optional. I just store the case in a dry location. It also has a nice handle with rubber grip. Latches have lock buttons, so the case will never open by itself if you happen to bump it into some obstacle while walking.

I have several range bags and hard cases that will hold one or two firearms and a half-dozen or so magazines but the TSA Approved Turokacase (4) Pistol Gun Case w/ (24) magazines consisting of (18) double-stack and (6) 1911 style, takes it up a notch. The case is made from an advanced polypropylene resin that provides protection and shock resistance. The interior is comprised of a high-quality EVA foam which has great wear resistance, strength and impact resistance. Your firearms will be well protected. The case will hold full-size, compact, and subcompact pistols with, or without optics or red dot sights. Make sure to measure to make sure they will fit based on the measurements shown in one of the product photos. The case is not designed for revolvers. You can change from the 4-handgun version to a 3-handgun and accessories version by removing the right-hand side handgun module, freeing up space for ammo, safety gear, and other needed items such as earing protection or gloves. The removable module holds (12) magazines and leaves it with (6) magazine wells. Some of the features include:- 100% Waterproof (IP67) & Dustproof- 100% shippable and airline approved for TSA checked luggage- Heavy-duty protection- Ergonomic heavy-duty handles- Push-Button, Two-Stage Latches- A full-length steel hinge- Anti-slip bottom design- Automatic Air Pressure ValveIt comes with a removable canister of silica gel desiccant to help eliminate moisture and humidity. It is not only TSA approved but it comes with (2) TSA padlocks. The case is fairly robust and should be able to protect against drops and falls due to the hard exterior and the EVA foam interior. I like that I am able to take one case that will hold multiple firearms and one range bag, with my ear/eye protection, and additional magazines. I would previously have to take (3) range bags and a backpack so I will gladly take the trade. The firearms I use with the case are a mix of models with a mix of accessories such as reflex/red dot sights, flashlights and/or laser sights and they fit great in the case. I can recommend the TSA Approved Turokacase (4) Pistol Gun Case w/ (24) magazines!

I admit that I love the larger guns, mostly 2011 type, but also full sized FN 510 and similar polymer guns. they all are equipped with large lights (TLR-1 and X300) plus larger optics. Most of my guns don't fit into this case without pushing through the top foam against the outer plastic, bending the case and negating any protection for the optic that is up there. Also, note that the foam on top is the soft open cell kind that will compress easily and protect less should the item be tall enough to reach the outside plastic layer when the lid is closed. The case height just is at least 1 inch too low to work for my larger guns. So know your gun dimensions and pay attention to the 5.9 inches given as the max height of your gun with optic before ordering. See the illustration in the description. I was just glossing over that part, so no fault of the case.Apart from that, this is a really well made case. Not as solid as the big brand name cases, but it is tough enough to be thrown around in the back of a truck or fall of a table a the range. The clasps are well designed and lock positively. The hinge in the back is a solid steel rod, so it should keep things together. Two locks to keep small hands out of the case plus a nifty rechargeable silica dehumidifier are nice bonus features. The internal layout can be partially modified by pulling out blocks of layered closed cell foam. Careful, because the glue between the layers is not super strong. The foam itself is a great closed cell material that is much more difficult to compress than the usual open cell internals of cases. It holds its cut shape extremely well, but if your gun is larger than the provided cut, this becomes a problem. Trying to squeeze multiple tactical light equipped guns with magwells and optics into these provided cuts is very difficult. The first one will fit, but bulge the foam into the next cut. Skinny iron sight Glock 19s and similar polymer compact guns will do fine, even with smaller optics, but once you are toting 5 inch barrel 2011s or a revolver, the foam needs to be cut. A long sharp carpet knife blade or some sort of heat cutting wire may work, but I decided to use this case for ammo and tool hauling instead. Its handle is padded much better than the one on my larger case, so it is very comfortable to carry 1000 rounds of 9mm in this case once you clear out most of the padding.I forgot to mention that the 5.9 inch height also restricts magazine sizes. In fact, none of my mags are short enough to fit into the provided cutouts in a vertical position. Again, likely not an issue if you carry a P365 or Canik Mete carry gun, but big duty guns come with fat and tall mags that won't fit upright. I am not talking 26 rounders or 30 rounders. I have many 15 round mags in 10mm or 17 round mags in 9mm that are far too tall for upright transport in this case. The two tone color of the case is unusual, so you will easily be able to tell it apart from other cases you own.
