I have a 2001 Tacoma and I bought this knowing that it would be a major pain in the ass to install since you have to pull the headliner and a bunch of other bs. But after doing all of this I was very confident that this light would fit. I was wrong, and I destroyed my stock brake light while taking this apart and now I just have a hole in my cab where the old light used to be for right now. The plug is both the same, it does not come with the hardware needed and just overall was not a good buy👍

Don’t waste your time. They don’t even have the correct connector on the wiring only to find out it doesn’t work and you can’t return it when you splice into the wiring. How about looking at a Tundra before you knock off their parts.

We used it on 1999 Toyota Tacoma. It looks good but was not a perfect fit. We had to do some adjustments! But it looks and works good

I bought this gasket for my third tail light on my 2006 Toyota Tundra SR5 It fits the old light. I didn't use it because I bought a new LED light and it came with it's own gasket which is a different style.

Install was kinda a pain but not that difficult that anyone could do it. You do need to look up videos on YouTube to pull the stock light and safely pull the cabin liner with out damaging it.I would recommend wearing gloves or latex gloves so you don’t have fiberglass all over you hand.

Great price and even cooler look but....you need to watch a video on you tube for the install. It's not easy and if you dont have a back window that opens your in for a very hard time. Liner has to drop and stock light is on very tight due to seal being glued on. You almost have to break it to remove it. My back window opened so it was a pain but I did it. You need a 10mm deep socket 1/4 in drive. if you can get a magnetic one use it. Good luck!1
