This plate hanger is just what I needed! I bought a different one prior to this that was supposed to fit up to an 18" plate, and it did not. So I got this one in another attempt to find one that would fit my 15" plate, and this one did not disappoint! It comes disassembled, but it only took a minute to put it together. I love that it comes with clear bumpers to put on the ends that are in contact with the plate to give protection from scratching and to soften the grip. This was fairly easy to stretch and attach and easy to hang. It comes with a wall hanger, but to be honest I didn't use it for the piece I was hanging. I wasn't comfortable that the fasteners on it went straight into the wall as opposed to a downward angle. I just don't have experience with that type of hook, so I was uneasy using it for my vintage piece which I couldn't easily replace if something happened. I'll probably use it for something else that isn't breakable to test it out. I'm very happy with this plate hanger though.

I got this after an adhesive plate-hanger failed. This type already feels much more secure. I initially use the adhesive type because I did not want to see the little holders on the front side of my plate, but I've too late decided that seeing them is better than seeing a broken plate on the floor!This was easy to use, fir my plate perfectly, and is so far keeping it on the wall.
