The vinyl tube is not very flexible and clip to excess drain tube useless won’t stay on. Probably because vinyl tube to rigid

I was very careful and did all the measurements when ordering this replacement. The installer said it was too high and needed to adjust the height. All in all, it only lasted a short time before leaking on the floor. The other two standard identical toilets still have the 21+ years of the original kit with no issues whatsoever.

Was a tad shorter than the one I had to replace. So i jusy adjusted the floater so it would be up higher in the tankOnce installed and water turned back on there was no leaks what so ever. It screwed into the old plastic fitting from water supply line so I didnt have to redo that making it super easy to install. Easily affordable and fast delivery. It got me out of a jam because the old one broke the day before I was expecting company over to the house.

First, changing a toilet valve is not a pleasant task. Having a faucet spring basin wrench is a must.As mentioned in other comments, the original part is 11” high (tank height) and this one is 8”. Expect less water in the tank for this reason.The threaded rod is longer and fits the assembly too tight in the tank. You need to make sure that you screw the float and valve to the max to get it to fit.I don’t know if it’s an issue only with mine, but the rod couldn’t go up to the tightening screw’s section of the valve cause there was a missing hole for the rod path. I had to drill one. Then again, with the size of the rod, the tightening screw becomes useless. I glued the rod in place to secure it on the valve and the float.We’ll see if it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.

Easy to install. I did have to bend the shaft a little to fit my tank but no big deal. Doesn’t effect anything.

The fill valve was much shorter than the one I currently have and the rod that connects to it was way too long to fit in the tank so I reused the old one (my fault for not measuring). The flapper took some time to get in place and then wouldn’t stay up when you would flush, closing immediately after you let go of the handle. Ended up having to go to the store to buy a better quality flapper. Wasn’t worth purchasing online.
