When you have a ghost flush, meaning your toilet is filling up although no one is using it, that means you have a slow leak. This rubber will fix that.

This was the right size according to model number on unit. instilling it on my unit was a little troublesome nothing to do with with the ring. But now i don’t have any leaking of water and saved $10.00 on water bill.

I checked out the dimensions and measurements for this gasket that were included in the description and measured my existing gasket which was worn out, the measurements were a match. Re-installed the old gasket and waited a day for the new one to arrive. Once the new one arrived I applied a very light film of plumbers grease and installed it. Worked perfectly, great product at half the price of the local HW store.

This part works perfectly which is great. What I dislike (puzzled is probably a better description and this cost one star) is the fact that there seems another qualified option from Kohler itself that costs less. Does anyone have any clue?

When we moved into our house in 2011 we replaced all the toilets with new lo-flush Kohlers. Now, as if on cue all of them had developed leaks around the seals in the flush canister, making the toilet turn off & on by itself erractically. Sometimes waking us up in the middle of the night. Wasteful and noisy. Really annoying. These seals fixed it. Fits perfectly in our 3 Kohler lo-flush canister plumbed toilets. I installed the new seals (no tools needed) in all 3 toilets in less than 6 mins.

I don't know why I waited so long. This solved a persistent leak (toilet refilling a lot), and took 2 minutes to install. Just detect the little chain, remove the old, slide this new one down, and fit it into the groves below the plastic valve.

so far, so good. Hasn't been in long enough to give it a 5 yet - one bought at a big box store before this one leaked after a few weeks.

This flush valve seal fits the Kohler system well. My old one lasted just about five years of use. Coincidentally, the warranty is five years. Replacing the old one was an easy job as handy jobs go - just take out, wipe excess debris and install new one (no tools needed, just your hand). I bought one and purchased two more just in case for posterity.
