It comes with a speed control knob that lets you adjust the airflow, which makes sense if you're working with different materials or just want more control. That’s something I don’t always see in similar tools. The forward and reverse switch is clearly marked too, so it looks easy enough to get the hang of even if you’re not super experienced.

The handle has a nice ergonomic shape that looks like it would fit well in your hand, which is good if you’re working for a while. The aluminum body makes the tool feel solid but still light enough to carry around easily. Overall, it seems like it won’t tire your hand out too fast.

This rivet nut gun feels sturdy, and the blue aluminum body looks well put together. It comes with three head sizes—1/4", 5/16", and 3/8"—and swapping them out is quick and smooth. The self-locking design makes it easy to change heads without needing extra tools, which is a nice touch.

It includes three head sizes, and each one comes with 10 mandrels—that's a solid amount to start with. Plus, there’s a manual included, which helps if you’re new to using this kind of tool.

Heavy and solid pneumatic rivet gun. For small jobs, its overkill and a bit complicated versus a manual hand held rivet gun. However for larger jobs, this can definitely be worth it as there's no manual force involved.

The tool boasts a robust all-metal construction that promises exceptional durability and reliability over time. One of its standout features is the integrated air regulator paired with a pre-installed hose coupler, which facilitates seamless connectivity and allows for efficient operation. Additionally, it includes a convenient quick-release head, making it easy to switch out attachments. Each tool comes with ten extra screws tailored for each of the three included SAE nose pieces. However, given the price point, I believe it would enhance the overall value of the tool to include a more comprehensive selection of nose pieces, particularly metric sets. This inclusion would not only cater to a broader range of applications but also make the tool more versatile for professional users. In comparison, manual rivet nut tools typically come with a wider variety of nose pieces, which can limit the appeal of this air-powered version for those seeking versatility. Overall, while the tool exhibits quality craftsmanship and functionality, I feel it falls short in terms of accessory variety. Additionally, providing thorough instructions or a user guide for novices would greatly increase its usability and help users maximize its potential. For these reasons, I believe it deserves a higher rating if it addresses these shortcomings.

This is my first time using a power rivet gun so I don't have a lot of experience or what to compare it to. I order this gun for a small job of installing threaded rivets into a panel van. At first glance the build quality of this gun looks good. It's all metal construction and has some weight to it. The hose coupler fitting is already installs so the gun is ready to go right out of the box.It took me a little bit to learn how to install the gun head and set up this tool. My first dozen rivets were hit and miss. Luckily I used a practice piece of metal to learn on before working on my panel van. Once I felt confident in the set up and use of the tool I was ready to go.Installing the rivets was effortless with the air rivet nut gun compared to the arduous chore of installing them by hand. This gun is quick and effective once you get the hang of it. My job required only once size of rivets so I didn't have to change the head or settings once I got is set. If you are using this gun for multiple size rivets changing the head can be a real pain.Overall I'm happy with the air powered rivet gun. It's smaller and lighter than similar electric rivet guns and much faster and easier than manual crimpers. The quality is good but not great. I don't now if it's easier to change heads on other guns but that's an area they could improve. I could also see where the seals might go fast on this gun although my job was small enough not to require a seal change. All in all It worked for me and I'm glad I ordered it.
