This pole saw set includes ten 15" chrome plated sections that screw together and is made so you can make the pole saw any length you need, one section has a rubberized handle at the end. The sections are strong heavyweight tubing that screw together securely to create a solid long handle. The 8" blade holder assembly has a rubberized safety grip so it can also be used as a hand pruning saw. The cutting length of the blade is about 1 foot long. The blade is sharp and aggressive, cuts both directions, and has stops at each end to prevent slipping off a high branch. This pole saw set comes in a nice heavyweight canvas bag with a zipper closure and loop carry handles. It also came with a pair of lightweight cotton grip gloves. The thing I like best about it is it's easy to carry to the worksite and very easy to store (unlike most pole saws).

I left a nice fiberglass pole saw behind in a move that I got cheap at a garage sale and have always regretted it. Decided to get this since it's fully able to break down and/or adjust the height, has a nice storage bag, and wasn't terribly expensive (although not cheap). The blade is thin and somewhat flimsy, very effective on branches maybe the size of a finger or thumb but beyond that is going to depend heavily on how far up the tree it is (length of pole), how straight you can keep the saw and how hard the wood is. Definitely not as durable and capable as my old saw. If I saw this in the store I honestly don't know if I'd spend the $50 on it. The poles actually seem pretty sturdy and screw together easily and seem to stay together fine but the way the blade holder is bolted into the handle (can be used as just a handheld pruning saw) is very flimsy and only one bolt, and then the blade itself is too flexible. If all you need is light pruning of thin branches it's certainly adequate and gives you a good extended reach and for that I'd give it 5 stars, but for any heavier trimming it's a bit more of a challenge. For the price and overall usefulness I'd give this 3-3.5 stars. Wish I had kept my old saw :(

Premium quality stainless steel thick 201 stainless steel poles and 65MN steel saw blade. This 11 segment collapsible extension pole saw screws together easily and feels solid when all segments are assembled. The blade has a hook on the end that allows you to snare the limb you are going to cut easily so you can then begin to saw the limb from the ground. The blade is extremely sharp so be careful when getting it in position to use. You will be able to trim branches that you have never been able to reach, even on a ladder. It cuts with ease through most wood. It even comes with a nice storage pouch to store the pole and blade safely. I highly recommend if you own property with trees.

As I’ve already mentioned in the title, I am a bit torn as to my feelings regarding this adjustable, 15’ pole saw. First of all, the blade is definitely sharp, and I have been able to successfully use this to do a small amount of trimming/pruning, but it did offer some challenges, as the blade, although sharp, is a bit on the thinner side, so it is/was a little flimsy when cutting/trimming. Also, I was using it with the length only being around 7’ or 8’ feet, and even at that length it was a bit difficult to use it steadily and firmly enough to get the adequate amount of pressure applied to the saw while in use in order to get a good cut rhythm going (I wound up doing most of the cutting on the downward stroke). All of that said and based on my experience at roughly half of the pole’s total length, at full length, I would say that using this saw would be quite frustrating and difficult to use, but I imagine that it is doable, but certainly not without some good effort and a little patience.Secondly, this pole saws sectioned out pole appears to be of good quality and each section screws together very firmly, and once all sections are together, the pole itself winds up being quite sound and solid. That said, the pole itself is definitely more of a heavy-duty build and construction than the saw’s blade, imho. Additionally, this pole saw comes with a nice storage bag, that is very convenient to both store the disassembled pole saw in, as well as for its grab-and-go portability. To conclude, I am mostly pleased and satisfied with this pole saw, as I think that for what all that you get with this saw, and for what all is offers; although not perfect, it is overall a fairly good value---4-Stars!Please see my pics of this pole saw for a number of good visuals.

Good for light use and I must say--packs into a really small case for storage. Frankly, the ability to break it down into a bag this small is the best part about this saw. The pole screws together in segments. I'm generally not a fan of that style but if you're only using this for the occasional branch around the property--it's fine. That said, the pole is super sturdy--it's got heft and feels like it's going to hold up well. You can add/remove section sot get the length you want. The saw blades is ok--very sharp and cuts well (as it should). It's flexible and then add 10+ feet from the pole it takes some time to get used to, but is very capable of taking down smaller limbs--I'd say up to a couple inches. Just be patient as you're learning the tool! The saw attaches to the top of the handle with a bolt--which is an interesting design. On the one hand, I like the amount of thread that's holding it on. I don't feel like there's much chance of the blade coming detached from the pole and falling on em (thank goodness). That said, it seems like it's only going to work with this pole--which is disappointing. I'm used to tools like this having a universal connection end so I could swap out my own extension pole if that's what I wanted to do... as designed, if this pole breaks then I think you're buying a new saw. But overall, happy with the product--again, especially that it breaks down into that little bag and doesn't have to lean against a tall part of the garage.
