It’s so cute. There’s a bit of a gap once the twin mattress is in, but it’d be perfect with a comforter. (This will not fit a twin xl.) The directions were simple enough and my husband put it together in about 2 hours. My son loves it and we are happy. My suggestion would be to let the wood air out a few days before assembly. The bedroom smells like the lumber section of a hardware store right now. Not unpleasant, just strong.

My daughter loves her new big girl bed! She oohed and aahed over it for the longest time and loves playing in it. It feels really sturdy so I feel like it's going to last quite a long time.

First off, the bed was really easy to put together as just one person. I’m very particular about reading instructions and counting all my parts before starting, and it still took me by myself less than 2 hours. You do need a drill and an Allen wrench bit as a heads up. The color, we got walnut, was a little more orange than I thought it’d be, but over all it looks really nice and I am happy with the color. Delivery was way quicker than estimated, it was supposed to be 3 weeks but arrived in a single week. Lastly, this isn’t really the seller’s fault, but it is an issue so I took a star off for it: the package was delivered with a dent in the side of the box, upon inspecting every piece inside, one single piece of wood was dented. All 3 photos show the dent, even the one that has the assembled bed. It is a very small dent, and to me it did not seem worth returning for how small it was.
