I have another 'polvoron' molder from a different brand, but it is challenging to clean so the fact that this mold can be disassembled for easier clean up stood out to me. Upon receiving, I was surprised by just how massive this cookie press is. I didn't pay attention to the dimensions because I assumed it was specifically for polvoron cookies which are smaller than a standard chocolate chip cookie. This mold is roughly the same diameter as my 1 cup measuring cup. I've personally never seen a polvoron cookie that was the size of a hockey puck, so I'm not sure why this is advertised as such. This is definitely more suited for cutting something like cake. Other than the size, it is well made and the bars you rest your fingers on while pressing are large enough that it doesn't dig into my fingers like my other appropriately sized polvoron mold. I'll be using this to cut out cakes, brownies and maybe even ice cream so I can make cute mini cakes.

This Polvoron Molder Cookie Press with Spring Handle made from 304 Stainless Steel is a good size for cookies, and the spring loaded press is strong enough to lift the plunger back up. The problem comes with the plunger going crooked. If you're using this to kind of form or mold your cookies into a uniform shape, you won't get it with this molder. If you're using it only to eject a cookie after cutting it out, then it's less of a concern. I got this for both purposes, so I'm a bit disappointed that it won't press an evenly-thick cookie shape.
