How to find a replacement cartridge for your pool or spa?
If you do not know the replacement part number for your cartridge, then use the following steps as a guide to choose the right cartridge:
1.The dimensions are (+/- 1/16) from the end of the filter to the end. Exclude any handles or extensions.
2.Measure the outside diameter of the filter in inches (+/- 1/16).
3.Identify the correct top and bottom type. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (+/- 1/16th inch). If the end cap is closed make note of its identifying features(i.e. “Handle”, “Cone”, etc.).
4.Make note of the manufacturer and model number of the filter into which the replacement cartridge will be installed.
5. Make note whether or not there is a center core.

One positive about these PA106 Pool Filter Cartridges by Queeke is that they have 3 internal reinforcement rings compared to 2 in a typical budget filter. When the filter cartridges get clogged with debris they have the tendency to collapse from pressure and have to be thrown away. Internal reinforcements prevent that from happening.I have bought budget replacement cartridges for my pool filter that were (and still are) considerably cheaper than these and they were built better.What I don’t like about these:The end caps are exceptionally thin, with not much molded plastic adhering filter pleats to end caps.A very thin layer of glue securing bands to filter media. When the bands separate from the pleats there is nothing left holding the pleats in place.Grabbing from top and bottom, the cartridge easily twisted by hand - not rigid enough in my opinion.There are better and less expensive options out there.
