This vacuum hose looks nice and feels well made. It is flexible yet sturdy. The workmanship is flawless. I have not been able to find anything to complain about yet. I do not have a swimming pool, so I ordered this hose for vacuuming. I have a large, powerful, and highly rated shop vac that I use for big vacuuming tasks. I placed the shop vac outside and connected a hose to it through a small hole in a wooden board that fit the height of the window. The reasons I am doing this are the power of a shop vac being largely greater than regular house vacuum cleaner and the exhaust air being blown outside of my home, preventing it from stirring up the dust all over the place. In order to do that, I need very long hoses. I already have a few and this one is perfect for extending my vacuuming reach even further. Sometimes, I attach two or three long hoses together, easily adding up to 70 to 80 feet long. I noticed the suction slightly diminished proportionally to the length of the hose. To compensate for that, using several types of connectors and some that I made, I combined the suction power of two vacuum cleaners together. Only time can tell its durability and reliability. But for now, based on its performance, I recommend it.

Recently had a new In ground swimming pool built and needed a vacuum hose. The pool is 36 feet in length and this hose when vacuuming works great and not too long to tangle up. Great purchase would buy again!
