This is a basic pool tester. It does the job and tests the 7 basic things you care about. The two things you care about the most is the Total Chlorine and the Free Chlorine. They use almost identical dye colors to show these two and they bury it in the middle of their color chart. Because of this, I constantly have to cound which line I am reading on the strip and what line I am reading on the bottle. These strips are a bit hard to use because of this. They could have made this a lot easier to read if they rearranged the order of the lines so that Total Chlorine is the second from the last line and that Free Chlorine is the last line. If they did this as well as using different color dyes for the two the strips would be a lot easier to read and I would have given them 5 stars for doing that.

The real value of this product is it's simplicity.My windowed mother lives alone and has a pool which she struggles to maintain. Her process was to take a water sample to a local pool store, purchase their over-priced chemicals and add what they told her. Quite the racket for the pool store as they often had her add acid and caustic at the same time.With these strips, she saves the 15 minute drive to the pool store, purchases inexpensive chemicals on-line, and adds according to some simple rules I provided. Result, crystal clear pool at a fraction of the cost in time and money. If you knew my mother, you'd understand that it's a big deal that these strips give her the autonomy to handle her pool. Drops in test vials not so much.Overall, great product for its simplicity, accuracy and relatively low cost.

Ich habe dieses Set angefordert, um damit genauere Messungen bei der Wasserpflege in unserem beheizten Whirlpool durchzuführen. ich nutze die Teststreifen aber auch für den normalen Kaltwasserpool draussen. Die Messergebnisse scheinen genau und hinreichen vielfältig zu sein, um alle relevanten Messgrössen zu erfassen. Das Set ist einfach im Handling, leicht abzulesen und der Preis ist attraktiv. Über die Messwerte, die man hier abliest, muss man sich freilich ein wenig schlau machen, damit man weiss, was man überhaupt ermittelt. Ansonsten - bestens.

Funktioniert genau wie alle anderen Pool-Teststreifen: Streifen rein und Bestimmung der Werte anhand von Farbabgleich mit Legende auf der Verpackung.Super finde ich bei diesen Teststreifen, dass ebenfalls der Salzgehalt mitbestimmt wird. Da wir unseren beheizbaren Whirlpool mit einer Salzelektrolyse betreiben und so das Chlor generiert wird, es es super, dass sowohl Salz- als auch Chlorgehalt auf einem Teststreifen vorhanden sind

These work well, at least for chlorine testing (my only need). The strips are just sensitive enough to show there's a little chlorine in our tap water. Main use was for our above ground pool. Good number of test strips for the money.

First time getting these, usually I get from the pool store in Town but forgot so ordered these since delivery was quick and I needed them.Price was great! Very easy to use, and results showed up quickly. Color codes makes it easy to read- the colors are bright and clear.I was curious as to the accuracy of the strips so did a test and the same day took a water sample in to be evaluated- both results were the same so I feel the results are accurate.They come with a moisture absorbing strip inside to ensure the strips are preserved well.I go through a lot of strips as I use my hot tub year round, good purchase and I will be buying again.

Test strip works great. Used it most of the summer for our above ground pool and it gave us pretty accurate reading. With combination of this strip and chlorine, our water was always clear and never had any issue.
